The following day many fans visiting San Diego Comic-Con and on the web began to share more sweet images exclaiming their excitement about the life-like replica dolls, myself included. The attention to detail is by far exceptional, focusing on Chucky and Tiffany from the movie 'Bride Of Chucky'.

Even the smallest of details seems to have been matched perfectly to scale from the footage I've seen. From the staples holding Chucky's hair in place to his scuffed red sneakers to the love heart tattoo inked affectionally onto Tiff's chest and her goldcrest 'Tiff' necklace, nothing has been left overlooked by the creative team.

It is safe to say this killer duo would instantly become the centerpiece to anyone's gory horror collection, I myself will be hoping to secure my very own couple to add to my ever-growing treasured Chucky collection.

NECA Toys later announced a smaller, and likely more affordable Chucky and Tiffany figurine launch for horror fans, as part of their 'Toony Terrors' range, which also includes infamous horror icons such as Michael Myers, Leatherface, and Hellraisers Pinhead.

Although measuring in at a pocket-sized 6 inches, NECA Toys hasn't failed to pay attention to the tinier details, though on a more cartoony style scale. Chucky still sports his gnarly scars and face staples, and Tiffany wouldn't be the Tiff we know and love without a cigarette in hand.

All of these 'kill'tastic' items are ready for you to indulge your eyes upon in finer detail over on Neca Toys official website, where you can also make contact in regards to placing your very own pre-order with the team.

It is safe to say NECA Toys really spoilt us Chucky fans this year, but what did you think of the product announcements at this years SDCC so far? What caught your attention most? What will you be adding to your collection in the near future? Let us know in the comments below!

- Until next time, Chucky fans...

HOW SOON, IF EVER MIGHT WE SEE A NEW GREMLINS MOVIE RELEASED?

Raise your hands if during your childhood, Gremlins scared the living crap out of you? No? Just me then?

I'm not ashamed to admit that as a youngster the very thought of having a Gremlin hiding beneath my bed or hiding away in the Christmas tree actually gave me terrible nightmares, although the cuteness of the furry, lovable mogwai named Gizmo had me returning to watch the now classic titles time and time again.

But with the recent 'internet rumour train' chugging out fresh news which has suggested that franchise isn't getting the usual 'movie makeover' like others before it have, but is instead having a brand new addition added to the popular Warner Bros franchise, titled, you guessed it, Gremlins 3.

Numerous sources suggest the script may have already been written, and takes an entirely different approach on the 'Gremlins' light comedy horror of which many of us know and love, according to one of the original writers; Chris Columbus.

Speaking with BoxOfficeBuz.com, Columbus said - "I'm really proud of the script. It is as twisted and dark as anything, so we'll see. It's always a budgetary conversation when we're going to shoot it. I wanted to go back to the really twisted sensibility of the first movie. I found that was a very easy place for me to fall back into and start writing again so hopefully we'll see that movie soon.''

What becomes of Gremlins 3 if this script ever makes it to fruition? Hopefully fan favourite characters like Billy Peltzer, played by Zach Galligan, Kate Beringer, played by Phoebe Cates could make a return to the big screen, not to mention their fuzzy water shy friend, Gizmo. After watching both Gremlins and Gremlins 2 The New Batch last night I struggled to digest these movies are now over 30 years old. They've done a spectacular job scripting such memorable characters that everyone still remembers to this very day.

Just last year Zach revealed that the third would oversee the second movie, Gremlins The New Batch, and take an entirely different approach to the sequel. Whilst official news still remains rather scarce about the next possible movie installment, what we are sure of is there is certainly no smoke without fire, and with Warner Bros standing firmly behind the franchise I truly believe it is just a matter of time before this happens.

''Well, that's the story. So if your air conditioner goes on the fritz or your washing machine blows up, or your video recorder conks out; before you call the repairman, turn on all the lights, check all the closets and cupboards and look under all the beds. Because you never can tell there just might be a Gremlin in your house.''

What do you guys think? Are we ready to see the return of the Gremlins? as always let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

AM I ALONE FEELING A LITTLE DEFLATED BY THE BABADOOK?

'If it's in a word or it's in a look you can't get rid of the Babadook', apparently.

Since recently starting 'Your Horror Fix' I thought it would be an interesting idea to not only focus on the recent horror movies of our time, but to also flick back to past horror/thriller titles that may have slipped through my viewing net, well until now that is.

I started out with a simple Google search - 'Top scariest horror movies of all time' when the title 'The Babadook' seemed to continuously pop up in my web searches. Up until this point I hadn't even heard of this movie if I'm honest, which only made me more inquisitive as to what it was all about. Watching the unsettling jump scare style trailer left me with may questions floating about my mind. Was this 'Babadook' fellow known before the movie had launched? And at first glimpse would the beady-eyed long clawed top hat wearing monster appear to be as fucked up and frightening as he is first portrayed to be in the movies trailer?

I sat down and first started watching 'The Babadook' with no real expectations, although the online spoiler-free reviews I had read were highly singing the movies praises. I didn't want to over-spoil my eyes with an overload of trailers, which just about every movie now released seems to do. So, instead I decided to read a little about the writer/director; Jennifer Kent, an Australian writer and director who was the mastermind behind the creation of 'The Babadook'. A former actress turned screenwriter that was surprisingly behind the 1998 family friendly movie 'Babe: Pig in the City'.

Back to the movie topic at hand please allow me to give you a brief backstory of the movies plot script and its cast members -

The story is based around a struggling mother who after losing her husband in a brutal car accident has since found the weight and burdens of life, as well as the never ending behavioural actions of her ever disobedient six year old son more than a handful to cope with.

The mother, named Amelia (played by Essie Davis) and her son, Samuel (played by Noah Wiseman) struggle to find their way in life, as Samuel voices his displeasure of 'the monsters that live under his bed' and builds homemade 'Home Alone 2' style quirky weapons to help further protect both himself and his mother from the things that go bump in the night.

But his creativity skills soon lands him into serious trouble with his school following a string of bad behaviour, as the school principal steps into offer a one on one focused teaching method for 'the boy',  after Samuel had taken one of his snazzy dart firing weapon creations to the school without his mothers knowledge of doing so. This goes down like a lead balloon with his mother, who chooses to refuse the ruling suggesting it singles her Samuel out from the other children and chooses to remove her son from school.

Shortly after a red sleeved, what is believed to be children's book suddenly appears on the boys bookshelf at home titled, yep you guessed it 'Mister Babadook'. A pop up style scarefest of a read which only heightens her  son's belief in 'the boogeyman' being very much real and hiding away in the closet.

'The Babadook' isn't hiding under here, or is he?
Amelia quickly tears up and disposes of the book only to later find it return on her doorstep after three sharp and heavy knocks on the front door, only this time the book has been repaired and slightly edited to paint her out to be the monster in the story, suggesting a more 'gore-iffic' ending is just around the corner.

I'll stop my temptations to discuss the movie in its entirety and now give you my thoughts and feedback on the movie, which not everyone who has watched the movie would agree with.

But for me, I was left majorly disappointed after they gave 'The Babadook' monster a rather dodgy voice and a rather vacant glare in the short scenes it appeared in. I wasn't convinced by his 'eerie' crackling accent, nor do I feel we seen the evil creature nearly enough throughout the entire movie, much like we didn't see the dinosaurs all that much in the first installment of 'Jurassic Park'.

I feel this movie could have struck real horror gold if the directors had used the jump scare option much more throughout the thriller flick. As for me, I was left feeling a little flat in all honesty and somewhat disheartened by the lack of any real fear oozing from the movie that you might expect from a horror scare movie. Not once did this horror flick leave me feeling unsettled. In all honesty I was left more unnerved after watching the movie trailer and after spotting a photo of 'The Babadook' online, which is somewhat disappointing to say the least.

With so much potential to be truly horrifying, I can't help but feel 'Mister Babadook' missed the mark.
Am I being a little over critical and somewhat unfair? I guess many would argue so, but I stand by my comments on the hope that if a sequel ever did arise in the near future from the movie franchise we might just witness a true fearful jump scare horror flick in its absolute finest form.

'The Babadook' was released by IFC Films on 14th April 2015 in the US and UK, and is currently available on Amazon Video, Netflix and to purchase on Amazon UK/US.

STRANGE CULT OF CHUCKY IMAGE RELEASES CAUSING SPECULATION AMONGST FANS

This new 'Cult Of Chucky' photo has caused quite the stir on social media.
Horror movie fans have fallen into a social media speculation frenzy following the release of a new still shot from the upcoming Chucky movie 'Cult Of Chucky', which displays a dark eyed evil image of everyone's favourite killer doll, Chucky holding a compressed gas canister in his hands.

'But what's so strange about that?' I hear you ask. Well, it is not what Chucky is holding that's caused a stir, but rather what he is holding it with. Seriously, WHAT ON EARTH IS HAPPENING TO CHUCKY'S HAND??!

On a little closer inspection the foul mouthed redhead appears to have a some sort of deformed right hand, which has sparked an army of conversation on social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook, with many believing that Chucky may be finally transforming into a human again after his many failed attempts to escape from his current prison body of the infamous freckled faced 'Good Guy' doll image.

One thing is for certain, we have never seen Chucky's hand looking so disfigured like this before, and with his evil cheeky smile he certainly seems aware of the transition. Does he have a new plot planned to voodoo his way into a unsuspecting victim human body once and for all? I guess we will have to sit tight for now and await the launch of 'Cult Of chucky' which releases to Blu-ray, DVD and digital download this October.
