Firstly, allow me to welcome you to 'Your Horror Fix'. A brand new 'Goretastic' blog solely dedicated to our shared love and joy of horror movies!
Scary movies have always been my movie genre of choice, as a child I would get together with a few friends where we would secretly bunk off school in order to watch slasher classics such as 'A Nightmare On Elm Street', 'Halloween', 'Childs Play' 1, 2 & 3 to name just a few.
My personal favourite being Child's Play. As a young kid I was absolutely terrified of the little foul tempered potty mouthed red head known as Chucky who strangely resembled one of my Mother's collectable dolls she had and proudly displayed in a cabinet at our home, which only contributed to many of my sleepless nights as a youngster.
As soon as those lights went out for bedtime my mind would play some pretty evil tricks on me, to the point that I would wake up screaming in the early hours of the morning from my nightmares so loudly that I would wake the entire neighborhood yelling that I had saw Chucky hiding under my bed or in my wardrobe.
I was truly fascinated by Chucky, even when I feared him most. Something kept me returning to sneakily watch the movie franchise continue to unfold with their next installment being 'Bride Of Chucky' and beyond. He was the cheeky little knife wielding psycho fucker everyone was talking about in the late eighties and early nineties. Still to this day with the launch of 'Cult Of Chucky' only a handful of weeks away, Chucky still remains a household name to most, possibly for all the wrong reasons for those who just like me feared him throughout their childhood.

I'm going to feature up to speed reviews on these movies as and when they are released on both the silver screen and straight to blu-ray disc. As well as reviewing the new movies I wanted to spark a little light conversation on some of the more classic horror movie icons that we all know and love. Or not, I mean these evil monsters are pretty horrifically scary in their own right.
As we continue to drag our bloodied corpse forward we hope to bring you exclusive spook themed interviews with the movie cast members, reviews of horror memorabilia and exclusive sweet competitions. We have so much in the pipeline...
So, do not look under your bed but do ignore anything that goes bump in the night. Sit back, try your best to relax and never say you'll be right back, and enjoy the show!
And until next time...
